Enuresis

Enuresis is a pathology in which a person cannot control bladder emptying. In a large majority of cases (more than 95%) we talk about the Children's Enerura, when the control over urinations is not yet fully formed. However, the disease is also in adults (especially older) when the ability to control the bladder emptying is already lost.

The problem of involuntary urination is mostly manifested at night, when a person sleeps (up to 80% of all cases). Much less often happens during alertness.

There are no accurate information about overcoming this disease, because remote from always parents turn to a doctor about this. According to reports, among children of 5 years, Enuresis occurs in 5-10% of cases; Among the 10-year-old - in 3-5%; Among the 15-year-old and older (enuresis of adult and adolescents) -1%.

Night enuresis

Types of diseases

Enuresis is classified according to different parameters. Depending on the basic cause of the disease, distinguish:

  • Primary enuresis. According to statistics, it consists of more than 90% of cases among children under 5 years. The primary enuresisation feature is the absence of any neurological or urological pathology, against which a person could develop the urine of incontinence. This form a disease child has no long period (from 3 to 6 months), when awakened dry. With age, the share of primary enuresis in the structure of frequency decreases. For example, in children 12 years and older, about 50% of the account for it.
  • Secondary enuresis. This type of pathology is also called and recurring, as it appears again after a long period of remission. In this case, there is a connection with some urological, endocrine or neurological diseases that can contribute to an involuntary woven. It should be noted that this variety of problems can first appear after the child reaches control over urination (however, not earlier than 6 months after that).

Depending on the weather event, the disease may be the following species:

  • Night nights. This is the most common version of the disease that is manifested at night. It is assumed that the night incontinence of urine can be associated with the late mature bladder in a child or small volume. Hormonal causes are possible and - for example, low levels of vasopres. This is a hormone that holds moisture in the body. The disease can also be connected with very strong sleep in the child and the difficulty with awakening.
  • Daily enuresis. This form of illness is much rarer. It is characterized by the fact that patients have problems with control over urination in the day.

Depending on the accompanying diseases and complications of Enuresis, it happens:

  • Uncomplicated. In this case, the patient has no pathological change that provokes urinary incontinence.
  • Complicated. This form of illness is discussed when continuing against the background of other disorders. For example, these are infections or anomalies in the development of the urinary system, nervous and other pathology.

Enorez Prevention

Parents can recommend some preventive measures that help prevent the start of the disease. Such events include:

  1. Timely treatment of urinary tract infections;
  2. Control over the amount of liquid a child consumes during the day, but in this case it is worth considering the season and air temperature;
  3. Sanitary and hygienic education baby. This implies teaching hygienic care for genitals;
  4. Timely rejection of diapers. Often diapers stop using when a child reaches two years;
  5. If episodes of urinary incontinence are being effective that the child would achieve six years, measures should be taken for comprehensive testing of the baby, establishing the cause of diseases and their actions.

Reasons for disease development

The reason for the development of enuresis is not known. In this regard, experts are exposed to various theories, each of which has indirect evidence and, is generally taken into account in treatment. Consider these theories in more detail:

  • Breach of ripening. It is assumed that involuntary urination in the night or a day is associated with the delay in the development of the human nervous system. Moreover, these violations may have both organic and psychogenic nature. In the first case, we are talking about the direct lesion of some brain structures, spinal cord or peripheral nerves (for example, due to infection). Psychogenic factors can be emotional shocks, traumatic experience and others.
  • Heredity. According to some observations, the probability of disease development is higher if the deterals have also suffered from this disease at one point. Due to the delicacy of this problem, it is quite difficult to identify such a form.
  • Hormonal theory. The possible cause of the night Enuresis is a violation of the excretion of vasoprin. This hormone keeps water in the body, and its production increases at night. For this reason, a healthy person during sleep is quite worried about urinating. If the child in the night decreased the production of hormones, then it contributes to the development of enuresis. It must be said that such a hormonal imbalance is noticed with some pathologies, for example, Neaichar diabetes.
  • Stress. It is still not clear where chicken is and where the egg is. According to observations, many children with urine incontinence have stressful and other mental factors. For example, inexplicable fears, low self-esteem and others. At the same time, when the problem of enuresis is resolved, the mental state of the patient is often improved. Therefore, it is possible to inconvenience and serve as a factor in the person's unstable mental state.

These theories are mainly concerned with children. Regarding adult enuresis, the following violations and circumstances here not harmful factors:

  • Pathology of the nervous system, for example, strikes, damage to the spinal cord, neurogenic bladder and others;
  • Blank system diseases, including renal failure, prostate pathology, prostate decline, pelvic floor muscle drop, frequent urinary tract infections and other diseases;
  • Pregnancy, because in this condition, strong uterine pressure (especially with a large size of the fetal and / or its active movement) is on the bladder.

This problem can be provoked and taking some medications, for example, contraceptives.

Symptoms of the disease

The main symptom of enoreza is involuntary urination. Most often, this happens at night, but it happens during the day (during vigilance). The following symptoms are possible against urinary incontinence background:

  • shyness;
  • Closing;
  • Cruck complexity;
  • emotional instability;
  • Aggressive behavior (in rare cases).

Adult enuresis can be accompanied by frequent urination (often against some disease background). Due to the weakness of the pelvic floor muscles (which develops with age), leaking urine during sudden movements, coughing, and even at rest.

Complications

There are two main groups of complications with Enuresis:

  • Complications from the psyche and nervous system. It mainly applies to children. The child feels inferiorly, closed. Some aspects of children's life become inaccessible, for example, trips to camps. Adults enuresis can also cause such problems. It is all a serious factor in the development of anxiety and depression.
  • Complications of the bodies in the urinary system. The risk of infectious and inflammatory blades of the urethra increases. These are cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis and other pathologies that are manifested with painful urination, atypical discharge from the urethra, as well as pain in crotch and lumbar regions.

Diagnostics

With Enuresis, it is initially recommended to contact pediatrics (if we talk about the child) or therapist. After the initial examination and the survey, the doctor can direct the patient in narrow experts - urologist, nephrologist, psychiatrist or neurologist.

Diagnosis of enore

Diagnosis, as a rule, includes the following events:

  • Research and neurological examination;
  • Kidney and bladder ultrasound;
  • General analysis of urine, as well as nechiporen analysis;
  • X -Raj lumbar regions.

In rare cases, the patient focuses on other studies, for example, CT or MRI.

Enorez treatment

Enorez treatment is comprehensive. Consider the main components of such therapy:

  • Treatment of medicines. Drugs are prescribed that reduce the amount of urine produced. These are the analogues of the hormonal vasopression. Dosage and reception mode is selected so humidity generally lie at night (if we talk about the night for the night).
  • Method of taking fluid and nutrition. The doctor will provide recommendations regarding the use of liquid and electricity system. In this case, it is necessary to take into account food or adult nutrition, the level of his physical activity, the presence of simultaneous diseases and numerous other factors. Specifically, it is recommended to give up the use of caffeine drinks, because they improve diuresis and help taking additional liquids. If the patient deals with sports (meaning to be actively sweated), then accept the intake of increased liquid volume.
  • Arurant alarm clock. At the beginning of the last century, a special elementary alarm clock was developed for the treatment of enore. The first such alarms worked on the principle of closing the electric circuit when the first drop of urine appeared. At the same time, the patient is annoyed by small electric discharge, which is why the person woke up. Modern enuremated allegors are acoustic and equipped with a sensitive moisture sensor. The most common option is a clip that is attached to underwear. As soon as the first drop of urine enters the sensor, the alarm clock works. The task of this treatment is the formation of reflexes ", urination rental - awakening". There are also special sheets with sensors, however, unlike the alarm clip, in which the case signal is activated later, when the Urinac already reaches the sheet. The efficiency of the treatment of nightmeamymatic enuresis with the use of the Enureular alarm clock is about 70-80%.

Depending on the accompanying disorders, Enuresis treatment can also be assumed by the correction of mental or neurotic disorders. The complex treatment of this problem also provides for sessions with psychological. At the same time, it would not hurt to consult with the expert and parents of the child. The psychologist will tell you how to properly motivate children to meet all the guidelines in order to achieve control over urination. Punishing a child or forming an unfavorable emotional environment in the family (due to urinary incontinence) is unacceptable and will only worsen the situation.

Rehabilitation

As a rule, this pathology takes place after treatment or independent, which cannot be said for adult enuresis (as it occurs on the background of certain chronic diseases). As such, rehabilitation is not required after treatment. In some cases, the child needs classes with a psychologist or psychotherapist to help him hang out that the patient previously experienced certain difficulties in psychological nature.

Prevention

There are no special measures to prevent EURESIS. It is important that parents join the solution of the problems in the early stages, without waiting for the disease to pass alone. As for adults, this may be preventive measures in this case:

  • Timely treatment of the bladder diseases and other urological pathology;
  • active lifestyle;
  • Preventive examinations in the doctor, especially after 45 years.
